Upsampled peak detection, LKFS perceived loudness metering, K-System compatibility, and pink noise monitor calibration are now available in K-Meter for Mac and Windows.

TORONTO: February 23, 2011 - Audio Pluggers, creators of K-Meter are pleased to announce the immediate availability of K-Meter for Mac and Windows. This release marks the end of the beta period and introduces Windows support and compatibility with Pro Tools via FXpansion's VST to RTAS adapter. Audio Pluggers would like to extend a special thank-you to all of the users who provided valuable feedback during the beta period.

• RMS and LKFS (ITU-R BS.1770-1) meters. LKFS meters model perceived loudness, taking into account the ear's sensitivity to different frequencies.

• Clip indicators with user controlled clip sensitivity.

Compatibility

K-Meter is available as a VST on Mac OS X, Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Windows 7. An Audio Unit version is available on Mac OS X. The Mac versions are 32/64-bit universal binaries while the Windows version is currently 32-bit only.
